Does this difference in standards effect the availability of casual sex to an average man or woman?

For each of the three offers, men were more likely to accept when the hypothetical woman was moderately or exceptionally attractive than when she was slightly unattractive, but whether she was moderately or exceptionally attractive made no difference. Women however placed more importance on the requestor's good looks. They were more likely to accept the apartment and bed requests from an exceptionally attractive man than from either a moderately attractive or slightly unattractive man.

The authors conclude: "While men are not entirely insensitive to their requestor's attractiveness, women have higher standards and are more likely to engage in casual sex with an exceptionally attractive man than with a less attractive man."

How might this affect the value of casual sex to men as compared to it's value to women (taking away other variables)? How might it affect how we judge each other for attaining casual sex?
In other wrods, if moderately attractive women may attain sex as easily as very attractive women, while men must be very attractive to be considered for casual sex, does this change the dynamics of how we see casual sex and those who participate in it?
Relationships are excluded from this discussion.
Well, we have to assume that there is SOME agreement in what consitutes "very attractive" or there would be no reason to believe that a male model is any more attractive than a fat, hairy plumber to most women.

I tend to think that this is true of women seeking casual sex, after all if it's just a one nighter and women get more offers than men, then why not take the best deal? But i don't think those stats are the same for women in or seeking relationships.
